Myself and my school friend are gonna put money together to get a Macbook Pro for Garageband and imovie and make a load of beats and new songs and hopefully become reasonably big on youtube. Do you think it’s worth practicing on Mixcraft? Also can you autotune your voice on Mixcraft?
Well, I downloaded, installed, plugged in my guitar. No input. Switched to ASIO. No input. Restarted. No input. Played with every possible setting no input. Why is it so goddamned hard to write PC software that works? The first time I used Garageband I was recording in SECONDS!!!
Don’t bother with Mixcraft for “real” instrument recording unless you enjoy troubleshooting PC audio… I certainly don’t.

I’ve used both programs and garage band is by far the best, there’s no comparison. Mix craft is getting there though.
