@Bitingtoenails you have to go onto instruments in the menu on the right, select ‘sound effects’ and choose any one. then simply drag and drop.

Hi, I alr cut out the samples of the song. When I try to drag the samples into the keyboard, I’m not able to… Its grey-ed out. Do help

how do you save it so you can use it on new projects?

@ToRnLigaMenTs1 You can put them on the piano role but you can’t map it out over the keyboard with each key giving you a sped up or slowed down version of the sample. Doesn’t exist. One of GB’s only flaws.
iv looked every where and cant find anything on it, but do you know how to put your own samples on to garageband and drop them on piano roll, where you can change the key note of the sample like on fl studio’s piano roll pls help cheers
@Phatboy414 I believe so. Or at least it is illegal to publish the music without getting permission from the artist/label that the original sampled piece is on.
is it illegal to sale beats with sampled instrument off of copyrighted albums????

how do you cut the sample so precise ?
coz when i try to cut a sample it stays on the lines on top ?
